Greetings Backers!
We're super excited to share some news! We've started building units!
To be wise, we're doing a very limited run to make sure the triggers come out correct and working properly; we'll run some tests on those units and once we get the all clear, we'll begin our full production cycle and ship units out to all of you!
I know everyone is eager to get these in their hands as we've all been waiting patiently to start using DrēmTrigger right away!
Since we've got several supplier in the mix, it means we've also got several lead times stacked up, and everyone involved in looking to squeeze us in so we can full-fill our backers as early as possible!
I will post in the next couple weeks once I have a better timeframe to share with you all. We're super excited to get these out and can't wait to have you use them!

November Update - Moving forward!

Happy Pre-Thanksgiving Backers!
It's been a long time coming and I've been waiting to share something of substance as we've been hard at work to get things finished over here! We've got some exciting opportunities forming and I wanted to share them with you all before we go into food comas this week.
More Than A Trigger
Some of you know through having personal conversations with me that we've developed DrēmTrigger to eventually be able to break-off into other products down the line. What I mean by this is that, we see the future of Drēm becoming the obvious choice for drummers around the world, allowing easier access to synthesized layers and loops to be added to acoustic drums. This means we've taken extra time to ensure what we develop now, will also integrate with our other products in the future.
Going All the Way
As we've gotten closer to finishing the product, we've came to several decision-points as a group which forced us to choose one direction over another on product development. Right before our eyes was the opportunity to build a Pretty Good Product, or a Great One and we decided to make a Great Product. Below are some of the new features we've implemented:
- Higher resolution rate (increases range of sensitivity)
- Filtered "noise" reduces/eliminates double-hits
- Auto-calibration eliminates need for manually setting parameters
- Mechanical strengthening for a more durable product
These improvements, added to the existing features that have already been listed, take DrēmTrigger to a level we feel confident will allow current trigger users to simplify their process; and these improvements also opens up the door for future trigger users (ones who have been hesitant due to cost/complexity) to get into the world of triggering, which is our ultimate goal.
Partnerships
We've also had some exciting conversations with reputable brands over the last few months. There's a huge *hush* and I'm unable to provide any names or details, but we're confident these partnerships will be hugely beneficial to you and drummers like you. Keep on the look out as these agreements take shape to help us as we become a more established brand that will be around for the long-haul.
Financial
As with most start-ups, the conversation of "working capital" is almost always at the top of the list. The money that was raised during our Kickstarter campaign went a long way and helped get the product to a manufacturing-ready state. Aside from product development, we've been splitting our time to secure the right amount of funding that not only gets DrēmTrigger manufactured and shipped, but also gives us room to continue with the rest of the product line that we all hope to see. We have a couple financial options we're in pursuit of and securing this will wrap things up and get us finished and out the door.
Timeline
And so with all of that, my fellow drummers, I unfortunately bear the sad news that our timeline has been moved out from our original launch date. The excitement is overwhelming and brings tears to my eyes that we have such a loyal and excited support base. Our original goal was to ship prior to the holiday season so many of you could be using our triggers for Christmas events around the country, but then we aimed at getting these ready for Christmas present orders...however due to some of these delays, we've had to extend our ship date within the first quarter of 2018. We have collected your surveys and will be processing t-shirt orders shortly. The good news is that the product is done. We are working to secure the remaining capital needed to complete mechanical and electrical testing as well as manufacture enough units for Kickstarter pledges and future orders.
Updates Moving Forward
I am committed to ensuring your happiness with DrēmTrigger, our brand and our mission; and though I bring news of delay today, we are working to provide a new stream of fresh content with product updates, demonstrations and reviews on DrēmTrigger to provide you assurance of your backing.
We are indeed responsible for providing you with honest and real updates as we continue to pioneer untouched land with this product. I personally hope that you feel comfortable enough emailing me, calling me, texting me to ask questions and come along side us as we finish this last bit of the race to finish strong and finish well.
Stay classy,
Josh Fifelski
UPDATE + SURVEYS ARE OUT!

Happy Monday!
As many of you know, the surveys went out last week. The purpose of these survey's is for us to gather a count for sizes, style, colors and confirm addresses for all backers so they get exactly what they wanted.
We've also opened up our Pre-order page on our website for those who maybe wanted to get a trigger (or another shirt) at a reduced rate (about $100). The purpose of this is to get as many people using our triggers before they go to stores where the price naturally hikes up.
SHIP DATE
We all want a trigger in our hands! Our team has been hard at work making this happen and forging the next few years of our company so we can be in it for the long-haul. I can tell you right now that we're weeks away from a finished unit that we can run performance tests on and then ship.
Other things that take time that we're focused on:
- Final Performance test
- Packaging printing
- Production of units (literally, the factory has to make a bunch of parts)
- Assembly
- Shipping!
GOAL - Out by end of November to ensure enough time for those doing Christmas performances can utilize.
Any other questions feel free to let me know!
Also...ask your friends to pre-order! :)
-Josh
